Marion is a hospitality leader and recruiting partner with over 20 years of experience across fine dining operations, beverage program development, and wine and spirits sales. She currently serves as a Partner at Goodwin Recruiting, specializing in hospitality, sales, and marketing roles.
She began her career working her way up through the front of house, gaining experience in every role ranging from busser to General Manager. She concluded her restaurant career as Head Sommelier and Buyer at Michelin-starred restaurants in New York City. She later expanded into consulting and outside sales, managing hundreds of on- and off-premise accounts across the New York metro area for a fine-wine importer and distributor. In these roles, she oversaw full sales cycles, client strategy, staff education, logistics, and long-term account growth, while collaborating closely within cross-functional teams.
Throughout her career, Marion has been drawn to people-centered leadership and service-driven work, including hospitality, education, advocacy, and fundraising. She is known for her relationship-driven management style, clear communication, and ability to build trust and alignment across diverse teams and stakeholders. She values accountability, collaboration, and positive workplace culture, and brings a thoughtful, structured approach to developing both people and organizations.
Originally from New England, Marion has also lived in Tucson and Barcelona and is now based in New York City. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring museums, parks, and multicultural events, as well as spending time in nature whenever possible. She values lifelong learning, especially in the world of wine.
