Litigation Legal Assistant
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Litigation Legal Assistant to join a busy and collaborative law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who thrives in a dynamic legal environment and enjoys being a key part of a successful team.

Litigation Legal Assistant Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary in a law firm setting.
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court rules (state and federal).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
Litigation Legal Assistant Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Prepare, format, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence.
- Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, and case timelines.
- File documents electronically in federal and state courts (e-filing experience required).
- Maintain and organize case files (both electronic and hard copy).
- Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.
- Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel in a professional manner.
- Track billable time accurately and assist with monthly billing as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to assigned attorneys and litigation teams.
