Director of Housekeeping – Captiva Island, FL

Director of Housekeeping Benefits and Compensation:

Director of Housekeeping Requirements & Qualifications:
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership in hotel housekeeping, including laundry operations
• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management preferred
• Proven track record in managing budgets, optimizing labor, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Hands-on experience with deep cleaning, public area upkeep, and large-scale operations
• Daily responsibilities include leading and mentoring the housekeeping team, implementing cleaning protocols, overseeing laundry operations, maintaining guest satisfaction, managing departmental budgets, and enforcing safety standards
Director of Housekeeping Preferred Background & Skills:
• Experience working in a resort or multi-unit property environment AND Bilingual in Spanish
• Proficiency in HotSOS or similar housekeeping/maintenance systems
