An established Continuous Care Facility is seeking a Sous Chef to support their growing team. If you are looking for a long-term home that offers ownership in the company as well as personal growth, this is the place for you.

Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Purchase, receive, and track orders
  • Lead, mentor, motivate, and develop the BOH & FOH teams
  • Effectively manage food and labor costs
  • Maintain the highest standards for health and sanitation
  • Keep accurate temp logs
  • Partner closely with the Executive Chef to run smooth operations

Sous Chef Qualifications:

  • At least 2+ years as a Sous Chef in assisted living, contract services, country club, hotel, or restaurant.
  • Strong cost and labor control experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Preferred experience working with residents in a community or private membership clubs
  • Ability to create regular or specialty diet menus
  • ServSafe certification needed
  • Ability to be a part of a 365-day operation
