We are seeking a talented and driven Executive Chef to lead the culinary program at our upscale fine dining establishment in Jacksonville, FL. This is an exceptional opportunity for a chef with a passion for excellence, leadership, and team building to make a lasting impact.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency, and cleanliness
- Design and execute innovative, seasonal menus with thoughtful wine pairings
- Hire, train, and mentor a high-performing culinary team, fostering a culture of growth and accountability
- Create and implement efficient kitchen systems, processes, and standards
- Collaborate closely with FOH and beverage teams to elevate the guest experience
- Manage inventory, food cost, and vendor relationships to maintain profitability
- Uphold strict health, safety, and sanitation protocols
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining environment
- Proven leadership and mentoring style with a passion for developing and retaining talent
- Experience in building and hiring a culinary team from the ground up
- Deep understanding of wine pairings and high-end menu design
- Strong operational skills, including cost controls and kitchen systems development
- Energetic, positive attitude with a drive to innovate and lead
