Assistant General Manager – High-Volume Coastal Restaurant – South Coast, MA

We are hiring an Assistant General Manager for a well-established, high-volume restaurant located on the South Coast of Massachusetts. This waterfront destination is known for its innovative coastal cuisine, including high-quality sushi and creative seasonal dishes. The restaurant is recognized for delivering outstanding service in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Assistant General Manager in upscale casual or fine dining in a high-volume restaurant generating $5M+ in annual sales
  • Proven leadership and staff development skills
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Current ServSafe and Allergen Certifications required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily restaurant operations alongside the General Manager
  • Partner with ownership to drive financial performance and operational success
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences and handle service recovery when needed
  • Train, coach, and develop team members to support a positive work environment
