Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a strategic, results-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial operations for a privately held parent company and its rapidly expanding portfolio of boutique culinary and hospitality brands. The candidate must have experience in contract food services to be considered.

Enterprise-Level Oversight & Centralized Services

·        Develop and implement centralized financial policies and procedures supporting all verticals.

·        Design a shared services model for finance, accounting, treasury, and compliance to ensure consistency and efficiency.

·        Establish and maintain enterprise-wide banking and treasury relationships to optimize liquidity and risk management.

·        Integrate financial systems and reporting across business units for real-time visibility and decision-making.

·        Serve as a strategic partner to operational leaders, providing insights to support investment and business decisions.

·        Ensure compliance with all legal, tax, and regulatory requirements across entities and jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

·        Architect and lead the financial infrastructure for a rapidly scaling, multi-entity organization.

·        Oversee LLC formation and management, ensuring legal and tax compliance.

·        Partner with IT and Operations to implement financial technologies supporting centralized analytics and reporting.

·        Collaborate with HR leadership to manage a complex equity ownership program.

·        Drive enterprise-level FP&A, capital management, and risk mitigation strategies.

·        Lead M&A financial due diligence and integration efforts.

Qualifications

·        15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally across both start-up and established environments.

·        Background in hospitality, lifestyle, contract food service, or facilities management strongly preferred.

·        Advanced degree (MBA, MS Finance) and/or CPA, CFA a plus.

·        Strong understanding of industry-specific P&L and pro forma development.

·        Proven leadership in building and managing high-performing finance teams.

·        Experience with ERP systems and financial software.

·        Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and make data-driven decisions.

·        Exceptional strategic, planning, and interpersonal skills.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

·        Willingness to travel to client and multi-state locations as needed (estimated <30%).
