We are seeking a mission-driven Senior Loan Officer with a strong background in underwriting to support and grow small business lending efforts in historically underserved communities across Boston. In this high-impact role, you will take the lead in structuring and analyzing loans, building a high-quality pipeline, and supporting the lending team all while contributing to a broader mission of economic empowerment and community development.

Senior Loan Officer Required Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of direct lending experience, with demonstrated skill in underwriting and credit analysis.
  • Proactive and results-oriented, with a track record of generating and converting quality leads.
  • Analytical abilities in reviewing financials, cash flows, and forecasts.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with cultural competency to engage diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable leading a team, coaching others, and contributing to shared goals.
  • Independent, organized, and capable of managing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Proficient with loan origination systems, CRM tools, and modern digital platforms.
  • Passionate about expanding access to capital for underserved communities.

This is a hybrid role based in Boston with travel required across our service areas. Occasional regional or national travel may be required.
