An advanced veterinary hospital is seeking a Specialty Surgery Manager to oversee and support a high-performing surgical services team. This is a full-time, leadership-focused role offering the chance to collaborate with board-certified surgeons in a modern, well-equipped facility. The ideal candidate will bring experience in specialty surgery, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to excellent patient care—without the burden of on-call, weekend, or holiday shifts.
Specialty Surgery Manager Benefits/Compensation:
- Competitive salary based on experience ($30-33/hr)

Specialty Surgery Manager Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the surgery technician team
- Coordinate team scheduling, training, and performance management
- Oversee day-to-day surgical operations, including suite readiness and case flow
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory of surgical areas
- Provide hands-on assistance during surgical procedures as needed
- Collaborate with surgeons and other departments for seamless patient care
- Support communication and logistical coordination across hospital services
Specialty Surgery Manager Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in specialty surgery or anesthesia
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) strongly preferred
- Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) in Surgery or Anesthesia a plus
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience highly desirable
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
