Our national and international insurance practice is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join our defense practice in New York. Insurance Defense Attorney Responsibilities:
- Propose litigation strategy and communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
- Draft reports, pleadings, discovery, and motions.
- Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations and trials.
Insurance Defense Attorney Qualifications:
- 3+ years of litigation experience, particularly in construction defense under New York Labor Law 200, 240(1) & 241(6)
- Additional experience in premises liability, professional liability, wrongful death, or related claims is a plus
- Admitted, in good standing in New York; admissions in other states is a plus
