A respected and expanding accounting firm in Dearborn, MI is seeking an experienced Senior Public Accountant to join their team full-time. This role focuses on Client Accounting Services—including financial reporting, reconciliations, and advisory—not tax-heavy work.
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years in public accounting or client bookkeeping
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
- Strong command of GAAP and financial statement preparation
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Thomson Reuters, and Excel
- Excellent communication, organization, and mentoring skills
💼 Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting for multiple clients (GL, AR, AP)
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Perform reconciliations and month/year-end closings
- Advise clients on budgeting, forecasting, and financial decisions
- Collaborate with team to deliver consistent, high-quality service
💰 Compensation & Perks:
- Salary: $90,000–$120,000, based on experience
