Director of Conference Services – Benefits & Compensation

Director of Conference Services – Requirements & Qualifications

  • College degree with 3–5 years of luxury hotel conference services or catering management experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and non-verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Delphi, Outlook, Social Tables, and related systems
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 30 lbs

Director of Conference Services – Must Haves

  • Lead and oversee all conference services, including group resumes/BEOs and pre/post-event planning
  • Manage and develop the Event Concierge team, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences, achieving high satisfaction scores and seamless event execution
  • Drive revenue and operational excellence through upselling and strict adherence to departmental SOPs

Director of Conference Services – Preferred Background & Skills

  • Proven leadership of an Event Concierge or similar service team
  • Strong track record managing complex, multi-day conference events
  • Experience working with high-profile clients and maintaining luxury brand standards
  • Demonstrated success in revenue growth through upselling and creative service solutions
