Join a team where your precision and experience actually matter. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity with a company known for long-term stability, craftsmanship, and high-performance manufacturing.

As a Level III Manual Machinist, you’ll set up, operate, and troubleshoot a variety of conventional machines—including lathes, mills, and grinders—to produce high-precision components. You’ll interpret detailed engineering drawings, determine optimal machining approaches, and work independently to ensure parts meet or exceed exacting standards.

At this level, you’re expected to bring deep technical expertise, sound judgment, and minimal need for oversight. Level I & II machinists are still learning the process. Level III machinists are self-directed—fully capable of planning and completing complex jobs. Level IV machinists may also support training and mentoring others on the team.

Manual Machinist Benefits

  • Weekly pay
  • Full medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) with 50% match up to 8%
  • First shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
  • Clean, organized, and well-run shop environment
  • Low turnover and long-tenured team members

Manual Machinist Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with manual machining (lathe, mill, grinder)
  • Proven ability to set up and run conventional machines independently
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Ability to machine parts to tight tolerances (±0.0002”)
  • Perform first article inspections (FAIs) and self-check quality
  • Comfortable working with tools like micrometers, calipers, and drop indicators
  • Able to troubleshoot and make process adjustments as needed
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Available for first shift and overtime as needed

Manual Machinist Preferred Background

  • Experience lapping parts to ±0.00005”
  • Background in aerospace, defense, or other high-precision manufacturing
  • Familiarity with 6S or ISO-certified environments
  • CNC training or certification (this is a manual role, but CNC exposure is a plus)
  • Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced machinists

If you’re a reliable, experienced machinist who enjoys producing quality work without someone looking over your shoulder — we’d love to connect.
