Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
- Maintain payroll records and ensure accuracy of employee data
- Handle wage garnishments, deductions, and direct deposits
- Support HR functions related to employee onboarding and benefits
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
- Assist with employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all HR and payroll functions
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing over 1000+ employees
- Bilingual – fluent in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws
- Experience using payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar systems)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, can-do attitude and a team player mentality
