Executive Sous Chef responsibilities and expectations:
- Lead daily culinary operations across fine dining and events
- Oversee service and expedite from the line with precision
- Train and inspire a high-performing culinary brigade
- Maintain strict food cost and operational standards
- Ensure flawless execution of pre-fixe menus and plated experiences
- Champion excellence in kitchen flow, safety, and cleanliness
- Educate and elevate team performance with Michelin-level discipline
- 3+ years of Michelin experience (non-negotiable)
- Fluent English; Spanish a plus
- Proven expertise in knife skills and all culinary prep equipment
- Creativity, discipline, and obsession with detail
- Leadership presence with the ability to mentor and motivate
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and operational compliance
