As the Banquet Chef, you will lead banquet kitchen operations to service over 50K square feet of event space. You’ll take ownership of menus, execution, and team development, ensuring every event is delivered flawlessly. This resort is an icon on the Emerald Coast, looking for the next great leader of the banquet culinary team!
Banquet Chef Responsibilities
- Oversee the banquet culinary program for on-site and off-site events
- Collaborate with FOH and member relations teams to develop and execute custom, appealing menus
- Lead, train, and mentor a dedicated culinary team
- Work alongside the resort’s Executive Chef team to manage overall culinary operations
- Ensure quality, consistency, and presentation align with luxury standards
- Manage inventory, food costs, and kitchen compliance
Banquet Chef Qualifications
- 3+ years experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Executive Chef, or Executive Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or resort setting
- Demonstrated expertise in high-end banquets and catering, including off-site events
- Strong leadership skills with a positive, progressive, and servant-leader mindset
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments and deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Creative, organized, and detail-oriented with strong communication skills
