Our client, a rapidly growing insurtech company, is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to join their organization. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with deep expertise in B2B SaaS sales within the insurance industry. You’ll be responsible for driving new business, expanding existing relationships, and positioning our SaaS solutions to insurance carriers, brokers, MGAs, and wholesalers.

SaaS Account Executive Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Growth: Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within the insurance sector.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong connections with key stakeholders.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand client challenges and position our SaaS solutions to meet their business, regulatory, and operational needs.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to shape sales strategies.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to enhance client experience.
  • Sales Process Management: Lead the full sales cycle, utilizing CRM tools for tracking, forecasting, and pipeline reporting.
  • Product Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of our SaaS solutions, including integrations with legacy insurance systems.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 5+ years in SaaS sales, with at least 2+ years selling into the insurance industry (carriers, brokers, MGAs, or insurtech firms).
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the insurance market, including its regulatory environment and operational processes.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive B2B SaaS environment.
  • Consultative Selling Skills: Ability to engage and influence C-level executives, risk managers, underwriters, and IT professionals.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable explaining complex technical solutions, particularly those integrated with legacy insurance systems.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills, with a persuasive and professional approach.
  • Self-Motivated: A proactive, results-oriented sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment.
