We are currently seeking a Public Works Inspector to join our team and ensure all public works construction projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Public Works Inspector Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily inspections of public works construction projects (streets, utilities, grading, drainage, etc)
- Monitor contractor compliance with approved plans, specifications, codes, and applicable safety standards
- Document progress and issues with detailed field reports and photos
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, utility companies, and city personnel
- Track project milestones and assist with punch-list completion and final closeouts
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and stormwater management practices
Public Works Inspector Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in public works inspection
- Strong knowledge of civil construction practices and public infrastructure systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and specifications
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Preferred Qualifications (or ability to obtain within 6 months):
- Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP) certification
- Certified Erosion, Sediment and Stormwater Inspector (CESSWI) certification
