Come join a new restaurant team as their Bookkeeper (Assistant Controller)! You will have the opportunity to support a great team with payroll, AP, AR, inventory review, vendor management, invoice processing, and month-end close. This is an in-person role, 1 day in Midtown Manhattan office, 4 days at the restaurant in Brooklyn.

Hospitality Bookkeeper Salary + Benefits:

  • Generous salary (up to $85K)

Hospitality Bookkeeper Responsibilities:

  • Vendor relationship management and communication
  • Invoice processing, coding, and payment
  • Payroll review and processing
  • Manage restaurant email communications
  • Reporting of sales, financial, and guest-related information to the Executive team
  • Calendar management and meeting coordination

Hospitality Bookkeeper Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Quickbooks online is required
  • Prior experience in Restaurant/Hospitality industry is given preference
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
  • Inventory management experience (completing inventory, utilizing software, and reporting)
  • Payroll processing and employee onboarding experience
  • Excellent technology skills (GSuite, MS Office, hospitality platforms, etc)
  • Outstanding organization and communication skills
  • High level of proficiency in reporting, analyzing data, and presenting findings
