An established Tallahassee public accounting firm is seeking a CPA for their growing team! This position has growth potential in a relaxed atmosphere and family-friendly culture. Salary is based on experience, is negotiable.

CPA Responsibilities:

• Prepare income tax return, audits, tax research, payroll, and bookkeeping 
• Organize and update financial records as needed
• Liaise with Tax Accountants to track tax payments and returns
• Monitor bookkeeping activities regularly
• Brief senior managers regularly on the company’s financial status
• Stay informed on industry trends and developments/changes 
• The firm offers an opportunity to learn and gain further tax experience

CPA Requirements:

• Must have 3+ years of experience of public accounting experience
• Public Accountant, State of Florida CPA license (or have on radar for near future)
• Must be able to excel in a fast-paced environment and work well with deadlines 
• Knowledge of QuickBooks, Ultra Tax software, and MS Office Suite applications
• Experience in payroll and payroll tax filings.
• Ambitious, self-actualized candidates, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and have good communication skills are essential
