Junior CPA, Tax & Bookkeeping (Growth Role)
Location: Birmingham, AL (On-Site Preferred)
Compensation: $55,000 – $75,000 (Based on Experience & CPA Status)
Are you an ambitious early-career CPA, recent graduate or CPA-track candidate who’s passionate about both tax and bookkeeping? We’re partnering with a growing, PE-backed accounting firm with a long-standing legacy and fresh leadership vision to hire the next generation of professionals to grow with them.

- Direct mentorship from seasoned CPAs
- Exposure to both tax and bookkeeping, no audit work
- Hands-on experience with client's books
- Opportunity to grow into higher-level roles and even build new service lines (bookkeeping services as well as long term partnership track 10+ years)
Ideal Candidates:
- CPA or CPA eligible with 0–5 years of experience
- Solid foundation in tax and accounting fundamentals
- Strong interest in developing bookkeeping skills and working directly with clients
- Comfortable in a growing, evolving firm where change is happening quickly
- Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and excited about ownership over your work
Tech Environment:
- ProConnect (Intuit), TaxDome CRM (currently transitioning from older systems)
Compensation & Benefits:
- $55K for entry-level / new grads
- Up to $75K for experienced CPA candidates
- Health benefits (BCBS group plan, $650/month contribution)
