Join a premier waterfront destination as Dockmaster, where exceptional guest service and operational excellence meet. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader passionate about the marina lifestyle and capable of overseeing daily operations, team leadership, and guest satisfaction at one of the area’s top boating locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily marina operations to ensure a seamless and safe guest experience
• Supervise, schedule, and train dock staff to maintain high customer service standards
• Assist boaters with docking, mooring, and departures
• Manage overnight stays, ensuring proper dock placement and electrical access
• Coordinate and oversee all boat charters
• Organize and track fuel deliveries with vendors
• Maintain and charge Moke vehicles for marina use
• Encourage and monitor guest reviews (tracked and incentivized)
• Utilize Dockwa App for reservations, payment processing, and guest communication
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of docks and marina facilities
• Enforce marina rules and ensure only authorized vehicles access dock areas
• Conduct routine inspections of docks, slips, and utility systems
• Prepare for and respond to emergencies, including severe weather events
• Track maintenance and capital improvement needs
• Build relationships with boaters and marine businesses to increase traffic
• Set daily and weekly sales goals and review performance with team
• Complete financial reports and submit to General Manager
• Participate in marina and surrounding area clean-up activities
• Lead by example and attend weekly operations meetings

Qualifications

• Previous marina, boating, or hospitality management experience preferred
• Strong leadership and staff supervision skills
• Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal communication abilities
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using digital tools such as Dockwa and point-of-sale systems
• Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to perform dock-related tasks and emergency procedures
