Quality Control Manager (Federal Facilities Contract – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers)

Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing quality programs for projects of similar size and complexity (federal or military experience preferred)
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Construction Management, or related technical field (Bachelor’s preferred)
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM-C) certification strongly preferred
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or equivalent QMS frameworks
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS applications
- Excellent written, verbal, and reporting skills
- Must be available by phone within one hour during and after Government working hours
Must Haves
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management Plan per PWS requirements
- Manage all inspections and surveillance activities in compliance with FAR 52.246-4 and the Government’s QASP
- Lead internal audits and ensure all corrective actions are tracked, verified, and documented in the QMS
- Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, COR, and SSHO to maintain compliance and performance integrity
- Track performance metrics, analyze trends, and produce monthly quality and compliance reports
- Serve as the primary authority for quality performance across all facilities and task orders
Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers or other federal agency contracts
- Proven success leading multi-site or high-volume inspection programs
- Working knowledge of preventive maintenance metrics and CMMS reporting
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills to drive a culture of excellence and accountability
- Continuous improvement mindset, with ability to identify and implement process enhancements
