Footwear Buyer – Men's
Comp: $130K–$140K base + 20% bonus
Join a fast-moving, high-performance retail organization leading the Western footwear category. This role puts you in control of a high-volume footwear business, shaping strategy across stores and e-commerce while driving measurable results.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and coach merchandising associates to hit aggressive financial and talent goals
- Own multi-category footwear strategy across retail and e-commerce channels
- Develop and execute assortment plans that optimize style mix, pricing, and margins
- Partner with Planning to maximize sales, margin, and inventory turnover
- Analyze trends, monitor competition, negotiate with vendors, and travel as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Retail Merchandising, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years progressive retail buying experience, preferably in footwear
- 2+ years leading merchandising teams
- Deep knowledge of Western/work footwear brands, private label assortment, KPIs, and financials
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to travel up to 20%
