Restaurant General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager in a high-volume environment
  • Proven drive-thru leadership experience (required)
  • Strong background in inventory control, cost management, and sales growth
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to set and maintain high standards
  • Demonstrated integrity, discipline, and respect in all aspects of leadership

Restaurant General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead daily restaurant operations with a focus on service excellence and results
  • Develop, coach, and manage a team to exceed performance expectations
  • Oversee inventory control and cost management to meet profitability goals
  • Foster a positive team culture centered on guest satisfaction and employee engagement
  • Drive sales and deliver an exceptional guest experience at all touchpoints, including the drive-thru
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards
