Join our renowned company, known for decades for our delectable, fresh-baked treats. We're in search of a committed Assistant Production supervisor to bolster our team and maintain seamless production operations. Great growth opportunity.

This is a 2nd shift opportunity, however will need to cover vacation for the other members of the production team. Training is on first shift from 6am until 3pm. Overtime will occur.

Assistant Production Supervisor Benefits:

Assistant Production Supervisor Requirements:

  • 1. Ensure safety of all employees through training and managing of safety concerns..
  • 3. Ensure that the production personnel and operations conform to all GMP, sanitation and regulatory requirements.
  • 4. Direct activities of production department ensuring company and customer product quality standards are met. Completes sheets/paperwork/reporting, metal detection challenges per HAACP, changeovers, proper ingredient and packaging usage, proper labels and codes, monitoring weights, maintaining proper housekeeping.
  • 5. Identify areas of waste and inefficiency, giving and implementing ideas for improvement.
  • 6. Oversee training and developing of new and existing employees to meet or exceed job requirements, ensuring back-ups and cross-training to ensure production continuance success.
  • 7. Work to address and minimize interpersonal conflicts that arise between employees.
  • 8. Schedule production employees efficiently and cost-effectively following staffing guidelines.
  • 9. Timely preparation of performance reviews, job description checklist, audits, and various training materials.
  • 10. Recommend or initiate personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, wage increases, job transfers, discharges and appropriate actions and/or performance improvement plans required as part of disciplinary action process. Communicate job expectations and give feedback to employees.
