Cafe General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in hospitality, restaurant, or retail.
- Proven success in hiring, developing, and leading a team.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and sales analysis.
- Hands-on, guest-first leadership approach.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of food safety, inventory systems, and POS operations.
Cafe General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team with strong hospitality standards.
- Conduct regular coaching and performance evaluations.
- Manage scheduling and labor to meet business needs and budget targets.
- Oversee the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of the entire store.
- Uphold high standards for food, beverage, and service quality.
- Analyze sales trends to develop strategies for revenue growth.
