An independently owned, ultra-luxury resort destination spanning more than 2,000 acres is seeking a highly accomplished Resort Chief Engineer. This leader will oversee all resort facilities, systems, maintenance operations, and major renovation projects, ensuring the property remains safe, reliable, and impeccably maintained. This is a relocation to Westen Pennsylvania.

Resort Chief Engineer – Benefits and Compensation:

Resort Chief Engineer – Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Facilities Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of eight years of engineering leadership within hotels, resorts, or large-scale facilities
  • Expertise with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire/life safety, and BMS systems
  • Experience managing large renovation projects, capital planning, and preventative maintenance programs

Must Haves:

  • Oversight of all resort engineering, maintenance, and facilities operations
  • Leadership of renovation, construction, and infrastructure improvement initiatives
  • Strong team development skills with proven ability to lead large technical teams
  • Ability to manage emergencies, regulatory compliance, inspections, and system integrity

Resort Chief Engineer – Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Experience within luxury or Forbes-rated resort environments
  • Background managing multi-building or large-acreage properties
  • Strong vendor management, budgeting, and contractor oversight abilities
  • Certifications such as CEM, PMP, LEED, or HVAC/R licensure preferred
