We’re seeking an experienced Property Accountant to manage accounting operations for multiple hotel properties, support leadership with accurate financial reporting, and help drive continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financials, management reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash management updates
- Analyze operating results and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Review and enhance accounting policies and procedures to align with best practices
- Partner with operations teams to support property-level accounting and procurement
- Support pre-opening accounting setup for new hotels
- Assist with annual financial statements, audits, and tax filings
- Ensure 1099 compliance and accurate vendor reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of general accounting experience, including team oversight
- Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable, Payroll, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger functions
- Background in hospitality, real estate, or construction strongly preferred
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting systems; Acumatica ERP a plus
- Proactive problem-solver focused on process improvement
Additional Details
- Full-time, on-site role
- No overnight travel required
- $70k–$80k annually, commensurate with experience
