General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • Prior experience leading high-end dining, conference center, or boutique hotel food & beverage operations
  • Proven ability to manage executive-level catering or fine dining programs
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to oversee a culinary and service team
  • Experience managing multiple managers and hourly staff in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L oversight and budget management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to interact with senior executives and corporate stakeholders
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule for high-profile events as needed
  • Preference for candidates with a NYC background

General Manager Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience in boutique hotel dining, conference centers, or luxury corporate dining environments
  • Track record of handling operations with $3.5M+ in annual sales
  • Ability to lead high-touch service programs for senior-level executives and managers
  • Strong event management experience with groups of up to 100 guests
  • Desire and ability to grow into expanded leadership roles within 2–4 years
