We’re a fast-growing, innovative healthcare company building something new, and we’re looking for a Controller who’s excited to be both a leader and a builder to help us scale. This is a highly visible, in-office role reporting to the CFO where you’ll guide our accounting team, scale systems, and keep us moving fast without losing accuracy. It’s equal parts strategic leadership and rolling up your sleeves. This is not an ivory tower role. You’ll lead a talented team, stay close to the work, and partner directly with leadership to shape the future of our finance operations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead and manage day-to-day accounting across multiple entities (A/R, A/P, cash management, fixed assets, close, reconciliations, consolidations)

• Drive timely and accurate financial reporting at both the entity and consolidated level, including KPIs and practice-level P&Ls

• Oversee cash flow forecasting, intercompany transactions, and compliance across multiple states

• Strengthen policies, controls, and processes while finding automation opportunities to reduce manual work

• Partner with operators and internal teams to ensure revenue recognition and expense tracking are accurate

• Manage audits, tax filings, and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions

• Develop, coach, and expand a growing team of 4–5 accounting professionals

• Work in-office at least 3 days a week (5 days during the first six months for ramp-up)

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s in Accounting and active CPA

• 10+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role

• Experience in multi-entity, multi-state businesses (healthcare, dental, veterinary, or similar)

• Strong command of US GAAP, consolidations, and multi-entity reporting

• ERP experience (NetSuite preferred) and EPM tools (Hyperion or similar)

• Advanced Excel skills

• A collaborative, adaptable, hands-on style with a growth mindset
