Accounting Manager – Benefits and Compensation

Accounting Manager – Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 3–5 years of experience in public accounting and/or financial management at a supervisory level
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software (NetSuite preferred)
- Knowledge of payroll and timekeeping systems
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Accounting Manager – Must Haves
- Proven supervisory/leadership experience
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Commitment to ethical standards, professionalism, and discretion
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Accounting Manager – Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience coaching, training, and mentoring staff
- Prior hands-on experience with NetSuite (or similar ERP systems)
- Event accounting/operations experience (preferred in venues, entertainment, or hospitality)
- Ability to step into multiple finance functions when needed
- Strong analytical skills for reconciliations, reporting, and variance analysis
