Are you a motivated and experienced event professional ready to lead and grow a dynamic catering and events department? We are hiring a Director of Events and Catering to drive sales, oversee execution, and manage client relationships at Eclective, a vibrant hospitality brand. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Minneapolis, MN, offering uncapped commission potential and direct impact on business success.

What You’ll Get:

  • Upto $65,000 annual base salary
  • Base commission with total earnings potential of $90,000 to $100,000+ annually
  • Uncapped earning potential
  • Full-time, exempt position (45–50 hours/week)

What You'll Do:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound event inquiries via Triple Seat and other platforms
  • Generate new business through cold calling, networking, and community outreach
  • Conduct site tours, tastings, and sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients from initial inquiry through event completion
  • Collaborate with culinary, beverage, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Manage all aspects of event planning, timelines, and logistics
  • Lead and develop a high-performing event team with clear expectations and accountability
  • Develop creative, marketable event menus in partnership with culinary leadership
  • Contribute to promotional marketing efforts and manage event-related inventory
  • Track sales goals and provide regular reporting on event performance

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in event sales, catering management, or hospitality leadership
  • Proven track record of driving revenue and managing complex events
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a client-first mindset
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Experience with Triple Seat or similar event management platforms preferred
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods
