Executive Chef Qualifications:

  • Experience managing and working in different culinary stations, including pastry
  • Positive role model and team player
  • Organization and culinary skills to maximize production efficiency
  • Advanced cooking skills and mechanics, culinary terminology, and techniques 
  • Scratch cooking experience
  • Utilizes and understands IT tools to manage the business effectively

Executive Chef Responsibilities:

  • Ensures team members produce high-quality results, adhering to all food-safety guidelines
  • Coaching team members and promoting restaurant cohesion
  • Proactively communicates with supporting departments
  • Adepts at controlling costs without sacrificing food quality
  • Hands-on leadership, operations-driven, and passionate
  • Leads the kitchen staff and assists in the day-to-day operations of all areas of the kitchen, including production, prep, purchasing, and receiving
