Our client is seeking a highly-qualified Rooms Division Manager for their beautiful boutique hotel near Richmond, VA. This unique opening offers endless opportunities for growth in a collaborative and rewarding work environment. The ideal candidate has recent and significant experience as a Director of Rooms at an upscale branded hotel and a passion for leading teams while effectively demonstrating high integrity at all times.

Rooms Division Manager Perks:

Rooms Division Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all housekeeping, front office, and support teams activities including setting big-picture and incremental goals
  • Implement emergency organization procedures and training through the management of the security staff to ensure appropriate protection for hotel guests, staff, and company assets
  • Manage the division in order to attract, retain and motivate employees including hiring, training, developing, and correcting
  • Manage the division's annual budget, forecasts, and objectives to meet/exceed management expectations
  • Member of the property Executive Leadership Team

Rooms Division Manager Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of recent Rooms Division Manager experience at a full-service property including responsibility for the front office, guest services and housekeeping departments
  • Management experience in a Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt property, required
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire and motivate a team
  • Ability and desire to work a flexible schedule, as the business requires
  • Prior experience writing department budgets and managing to them, preferred
