Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to assist their team in Lincoln, NE (in-office, not remote). This is an exciting opportunity to grow with a well-established local brand nationally.

Senior Accountant Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in public accounting with audit experience, preferably in a variety of corporate businesses/industries, required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, required
  • CPA designation, preferred 
  • Consistent and solid work tenure
  • Proficient with accounting systems and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Month end close experience
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts such as Return on Investment (ROI), and Net Operating Return on Assets (NORA)
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow, key financial ratios, internal controls, and disclosure and financial reporting requirements
  • Experience in payroll, budgeting, sales tax, consolidated financials and/or fixed assets
  • Strong computer skills with an in-depth knowledge of Excel and Concur
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and analytic approach
