Our client is a small high-tech company with the most up-to-date optical systems. They pride themselves on excellence in design and manufacture. They are seeking an experienced machinist/operator.
CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Set-up and Operate HAAS CNC multi-axis Lathes equipped with live tooling and sub-spindle
- Proficient with Manual Machining a big plus
- Produce parts with tolerances up to+0002”/+5 microns
- Read and interpret CAD drawings
- Perform in-process measurements to qualify parts
- Monitor machine functions and maintenance
CNC Machinist Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience performing machine set-up and operation
- Comprehends engineering CAD drawings for CAM
- Background of GD&T
- Knowledgeable in the use of precision measuring instruments
- Experience working in an ISO-9001 environment
