Restaurant Service Manager

Restaurant Service Manager Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience in high-volume, full-service restaurants
  • Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and POS systems
  • Exceptional time management and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards
  • Experience in team training and development
  • Customer-first mindset with a passion for hospitality

Restaurant Service Manager Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the General Manager to ensure consistent, warm, and inclusive guest experiences
  • Lead daily service operations and pre-shift meetings with clarity and motivation
  • Manage guest relations with poise during high-volume services
  • Help create and maintain a culture of empathy, accountability, and professionalism
  • Maintain a visible presence on the floor, offering support to staff and guests alike

Restaurant Service Manager Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Experience with new restaurant openings or relaunches
  • Background in Italian or Mediterranean cuisine
  • Familiarity with wine and beverage-driven concepts
  • Interest in continued education and restaurant culture
  • Involvement in hospitality or service-focused community initiatives
