Consumer Insights & Innovation Manager – Benefits and Compensation:

Consumer Insights & Innovation Manager – Requirements & Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field  
  • Some Spanish proficiency a plus (not required)   
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in CPG food industry, focused on consumer insights and innovation  
  • Demonstrated success launching products based on data and market research  
  • Experience managing projects across R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain  
  • Proficient in market intelligence tools (NielsenIQ, Spins, Kantar, etc.)  
  • Strong skills in data analysis, research presentation, and stakeholder communication  
  • Knowledge of retail and digital commerce channels, including Amazon  

Must Haves:  

  • Own and manage the full product innovation lifecycle—from consumer research to first production  
  • Conduct retail audits, trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking to shape new product ideas  
  • Coordinate and participate in product testing: sensory evaluations, trials, focus groups  
  • Maintain and track innovation calendars across internal and international teams  
  • Deliver executive-ready insights and identify post-launch opportunities for growth and refinement  
  • Collaborate directly with teams in Ecuador and other international markets  

Consumer Insights & Innovation Manager – Preferred Background & Skills:  

  • Master’s degree or certifications in Innovation, Consumer Behavior, or Market Research  
  • Experience with natural/organic food, health, or wellness products (in the food space) 
  • Exposure to global markets and cross-border product launches is nice to have 
  • Familiarity with agile product development methodologies  
  • Strategic thinker with a bias toward action and high attention to detail
