Attorney – Complex Personal Injury

Our client is seeking a Senior Personal Injury Attorney to join their Complex Injury Division. This is a high-impact role for an experienced litigator who can guide a team and provide strategic oversight on serious injury cases, while maintaining a strong client-centered approach.

Attorney – Complex Personal Injury – What You’ll Do

  • Oversee complex and catastrophic injury files to ensure clients receive appropriate medical care and referrals
  • Act as a legal resource for paralegals and case managers handling high-value cases
  • Resolve escalated matters such as client complaints, denials, terminations, and withdrawals
  • Answer legal questions and provide practical, solution-focused guidance to team members
  • Support performance management efforts to meet service and productivity standards
  • Communicate with clients clearly and empathetically, earning their trust and confidence

Attorney – Complex Personal Injury – Qualifications

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar (South Carolina admission as well strongly preferred)
  • 5+ years of personal injury experience, ideally with catastrophic or complex injury cases
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities with professionalism and poise
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective, compassionate client communication
  • Calm under pressure with proven conflict-resolution skills
  • Prior team leadership or supervisory experience preferred
