Restaurant General Manager Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience. (Will consider AGM's with good tenure)
  • Upscale, high volume with minimum $2.5 mill revenue with a blend of independent and corporate background
  • Expertise with OpenTable
  • Exceptional financial acumen
  • Strong background in training
  • Expertise with developing, establishing and maintaining a cohesive, collaborative relationship with the Exec Chef and BOH team.

Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Fill in where needed, and lead by example to ensure exceptional guest service and efficient operations.
  • Continually strive to develop your staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.
  • Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner (take ownership of your role and run the business!)
  • Develop ways to increase revenue and create training opportunities for staff on food, wine and spirits.
  • Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity, while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor-cost objectives are met
  • Oversee and ensure that restaurant policies on employee performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely basis.

Restaurant General Manager Benefits:
