This is a hands-on leadership role best suited for an energetic chef who thrives in a busy kitchen and enjoys working with a dedicated team in a well-respected, long-standing local institution.

Executive Chef Benefits and Compensation:

• Base salary starting at $75,000–$80,000

• Monthly profit-sharing bonus

• Health insurance stipend provided

• Freedom to create nightly specials and showcase local seasonal ingredients and farmer's market features

• Strong, experienced culinary team with low turnover

Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications:

• 3-4 years proven experience running a high-volume kitchen ($ 5 M+), ideally in a polished steakhouse or upscale dining environment

Solid grasp of kitchen operations, including inventory management, cost control, and minimizing food waste

• Ability to manage a large cook line and maintain consistent execution for 250–350 nightly covers

• Skilled in expo leadership and capable of stepping in to assist line stations as needed

• Adept at developing and executing nightly specials while preserving a staple core menu

• Open schedule availability

Executive Chef Preferred Background & Skills:

• A passion for food balanced with an understanding of what sells – ideal candidates love the craft and the business equally

Experience in managing seasonal menus, rotating specials, and vendor relationships (e.g., farmers markets, local purveyors)

• Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach and collaborate with a tenured, high-performing kitchen team
