Bar Manager – Acclaimed Savannah Restaurant
Savannah, GA
A celebrated chef-driven restaurant in Savannah is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead and elevate our beverage program. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and knowledgeable professional to join a respected team focused on hospitality, creativity, and quality.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a passionate and hands-on leader who understands the balance between a smooth-running bar, strong team culture, and exceptional guest experience. Ideal candidates will bring a deep understanding of spirits, cocktails, and seasonal ingredients. Wine knowledge is a plus, as our beverage program includes a thoughtfully curated list to complement a locally inspired menu.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily bar operations, inventory, and ordering
- Hire, train, and develop bar staff
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and a consistent service standard
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create pairings and seasonal cocktails
- Monitor costs and maintain beverage profitability
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bar Manager or Lead Bartender in a fast-paced, upscale environment
- Strong cocktail knowledge and a passion for crafting unique beverage experiences
- Wine experience or certification a plus
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
