Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Food Science, or equivalent discipline
  • Minimum 10 years procurement experience, with at least 5 years in food manufacturing management
  • Demonstrated success in achieving quantifiable cost reductions and operational enhancements
  • Comprehensive understanding of FDA, USDA, FSMA regulations and food industry supplier standards
  • Advanced negotiation skills and contract administration capabilities
  • Expertise in enterprise resource planning systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms)
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication and team leadership abilities

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (MBA preferred) or equivalent advanced education
  • International supply chain management background
  • Professional credentials (CPSM, CIPS, APICS certifications)
  • Expertise in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) sourcing initiatives

Key Accountabilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive procurement frameworks supporting organizational expansion
  • Oversee acquisition of raw materials, packaging components, and support services
  • Drive vendor negotiations to achieve optimal pricing and establish enduring business relationships
  • Track industry dynamics and implement proactive risk mitigation strategies
  • Create performance metrics and champion ongoing operational excellence programs
  • Collaborate across departments with Research & Development, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Finance teams
  • Maintain adherence to food safety standards and environmental sustainability objectives
  • Guide, coach, and expand the procurement organization
