We’re a fast-paced and growing organization seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our finance team. This is a great opportunity to be a vital part of a collaborative and supportive environment where accuracy, accountability, and professionalism are valued. This is a remote role, but must be in EST.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer invoices and statements accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding payments
• Follow up with clients via phone, email, or mail regarding outstanding invoices
• Apply incoming payments to customer accounts and maintain accurate records
• Assist with reconciling accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Handle customer inquiries related to billing and payment discrepancies
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare regular reports on the status of accounts receivable
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
• Work closely with internal teams such as Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
• 3–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable
• Construction or Industrial background required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks or NetSuite)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
• Team player with a positive and proactive approach
