We are seeking an experienced Social Media Specialist to join a well-established (over 50 years) Private Equity firm who specializes in the acquisition of construction and roofing companies.

Social Media Specialist Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • You do not need experience with construction or roofing.
  • You must have a minimum of 3 years as a Social Media Specialist or similarly titled role.
  • You must have a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • You must have basic graphic design and video editing skills.
  • You must be proficient with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, etc.
  • You must be experienced with paid social media advertising, SEO, keyword research and Google AdWords.
  • You must be experienced with social media engagement and analytical tools, like Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, etc.
  • You will handle content strategy, creation, and daily engagement that aligns with company brand standards and goals, across all social media platforms.
  • You will provide regular reports on analytics that track social media metrics and KPIs.
  • You will assess the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • You will foster an engaging community with followers, encouraging conversations and addressing questions and concerns in a timely and positive manner.
  • You will collaborate with the marketing team on content, campaigns, initiatives and contribute to cross-channel marketing strategies.
  • You will visit job sites and attend networking/community events to take pictures/videos.
