Electrical Controls Engineer-About the Role:
As an Electrical Controls Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting PLC hardware and software systems for high-precision manufacturing machinery. This role offers a balanced mix of lab and computer work, allowing you to contribute both creatively and technically to impactful automation solutions.
Electrical Controls Engineer-Key Responsibilities:
- Design and integrate new electrical hardware and PLC-based software for manufacturing equipment
- Support, troubleshoot, and enhance existing electrical systems and control software
- Develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, and system diagrams
- Implement IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) interfaces and automation logic
- Coordinate the integration of third-party devices and systems
Electrical Controls Engineer-Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Hands-on experience in PLC design and programming
- Proficiency in C or C++ programming languages
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring, and industrial controls
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
