Director of Banquets Responsibilities:

  • Ensure exceptional quality of food, beverages, and service in banquet areas
  • Maintain effective communication within and between departments
  • Lead and coordinate activities of assigned personnel, including training standards
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments
  • Manage labor, costs, and expenses within budgetary guidelines

Director of Banquets Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in banquet leadership, ideally in a director role
  • High school diploma required; a 4-year degree in hospitality preferred
  • Proficiency with food and beverage financial systems
  • Flexibility to work various schedules
  • Strong intuition to anticipate needs and exceed expectations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
