Senior Project Manager – Paving & Concrete (Remote / Travel-Based)

Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 + Bonuses + Profit Sharing

Are you a successful Senior Project Manager who loves leading concrete and asphalt paving projects across the country. A growing national construction firm is seeking a seasoned for a high-trust, field-based position. You must be a self-driven, humble professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes ownership of complex jobs with limited oversight.

You’ll be the point person on site, overseeing everything from project planning to closeout. Ideal candidates will have 5–10+ years of strong paving and roadwork experience, a deep understanding of industry standards, and the character to lead teams with integrity and accountability.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day field operations on nationwide paving and concrete projects
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to ensure jobs run on schedule and on budget
  • Interpret project specs, construction drawings, and site conditions to guide crews effectively
  • Monitor quality control, jobsite safety, and compliance with ADA and grade requirements
  • Resolve project delays or issues with urgency and professionalism
  • Communicate daily with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive performance
  • Uphold company values while delivering results that exceed client expectations

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–8 years of solid, hands-on asphalt and concrete paving experience (10+ years for top-tier salary consideration)
  • Prior experience managing field teams on commercial paving/roadwork projects
  • Skilled in reading construction drawings and executing quantity takeoffs
  • Technically savvy with construction software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented leader with excellent communication and time-management skills
  • Comfortable traveling up to 80% of the time – true “Road Warrior” mentality
  • Ability to lift 60+ lbs and work in demanding outdoor environments
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Perks & Compensation

  • Base Salary: $95,000 – $110,000 (DOE)
  • Performance Bonuses: $5,000–$10,000 mid-year bonus in July
  • Profit Sharing: $18,000–$30,000 potential annually (paid in December)
  • Paid Holidays + Generous PTO Structure:
    • Year 1: 40 hours, earned monthly
    • Years 1–4: 80 hours annually
    • Year 5+: 120 hours annually
  • Sick Time: 3 days/year (prorated for new hires)
  • Health Benefits:
    • Medical (50–60% of premium paid by employer)
    • Optional dental, vision, and AFLAC plans available
  • 401(k): Automatic enrollment after 6 months with Safe Harbor match (up to 4%)
  • Company Vehicle: Provided after 6 months of employment
  • Work Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, with some weekends based on project needs
  • Work Environment: Nationwide travel from your home base; live anywhere in the U.S.
