Job Title: Journeyman HVAC Installer
Location: St. Louis, MO (Serving Residential and Commercial Clients)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman HVAC Installer to join our team, serving a variety of residential and commercial clients throughout the St. Louis area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, start-up, testing, and servicing of HVAC systems while ensuring all work complies with local codes and company standards.
Journeyman HVAC Installer Responsibilities:
- Install, start up, and test HVAC units, ensuring safe and proper operation in compliance with building codes and manufacturer specifications.
- Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers regarding work performed, recommendations, and maintenance best practices.
- Perform physical duties including standing for prolonged periods, lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted, bending, pulling, and climbing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Drive a company service vehicle to various client locations and maintain a professional appearance.
Journeyman HVAC Installer Requirements:
- Active Journeyman License in HVAC or equivalent.
- EPA Universal Certification required.
- HVAC/R certification preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in HVAC installation, preferably in both residential and commercial settings.
- Must provide own tools.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, safety protocols, and code regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
